Loire Loire

Loire, Loire,

Oh no sayin’, we gotta go

Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah…

We’re in France. Brittany in fact, having left behind the forested paths of the Loire valley, with it’s endless villages, chateaus and opportunities for glorious cyclo-cross training. Kids and adults alike, revelled on the forested gravel paths and empty roads. Our rented property became a bike store and refuelling station of the highest order. I’m not sure I’ve been anywhere better for our particular brand of vélo fun.

Time now, to see what the coastline of Northern France has to offer…..

With thanks to the Kingsmen.

Clifton suspension bridge lasercut

Posted this on the Odoni-Elwell blog pages and still rather like the little video. The magic of Solidworks eh?

The Odoni-Elwell blog

Looking through some old files, I strayed across this short AVI file we created for our Clifton suspension bridge lasercut. We made two, created two traditional Sheffield stands using the bridge as the centrepiece and top section, then exhibited them at Bespoked Bristol. They have now been gifted to the Roll for the Soul community Cafe in Bristol. We’re very much looking forward to visiting the stands – and locking our bikes to them – when RFtS opens. Thinking about it………..I see a team building exercise/ride from Cardiff to Bristol coming on……

Hello world!

Hello. Thanks for finding me. This is the wordpress general page for Simon Nurse. I help, run and occasionally hinder (accidently) the following webpages:

Cycle stuff – A blog about the bike from an urban perspective.  This is the primary site for all of my posts.

Chimay trois – Yet another blog about the bike, this time from a cyclo-cross and spring classics perspective.

Les Croupiers running club – I set up this website and have now retreated to a safe distance and help to maintain it.

The picture above is not me. But Evelyn says ‘hello’.
